What we believe in?
CFO By Design was born from a passion for financial planning and a desire to help businesses and nonprofits overcome unseen stumbling blocks. If we can’t help you grow, we’ll help you plant. Together, we can start it, build it, protect it, and sell it.
Our founder, Miguel Hernandez, began his career as a plucky financial planner, forging relationships with people who needed more help than they realized. He observed several patterns his clients’ problems, constantly thinking of solutions, and constantly building on the idea of Genesis Financial Associates Inc.
Meet the Team
Miguel is a first generation Christian and Cuban American, as well as a husband and father. After almost 30 years in business finance, Miguel has learned that honoring God and keeping integrate relationships are of the utmost importance.
As our CEO and President, Miguel drives the ship of strategical thinking and healthy business mentorship.
Grace has been a part of the team since 2019 and has touched every stage of the client journey.
As an Operations Manager, Grace is in charge of supervising your clients’ journey and managing their support team.
Colton joined the CFOBD team in early 2024 with the desire to help business owners find their sweet spot.
As a Senior Business Analyst, Colton dives into the financials and uses creativity, objectivity, and inspiration to propose growth strategies.
